Tikk speaks MCP
Tikk is a second-hand marketplace in Iceland. Every deal ends with the buyer collecting the item in person, at a time the seller offers. This server lets an agent such as Claude, ChatGPT or Muse search the marketplace for a person and, once that person has signed in with their own Tikk account, act as them: ask sellers, make offers, claim items, save listings.

Model Context Protocol over streamable HTTP. Sign-in is OAuth 2.1 with PKCE; the server advertises its authorization server through RFC 9728 protected-resource metadata, and clients may register themselves. The person signs in on tikk.is with their phone or electronic ID and approves the agent once.

What it will never hand out
- Who the seller is. Not their name, not their address. Tikk shares those with a buyer only once a deal exists. The server reads the same views the app reads, under the same row-level security, and has no privileged path around them.
- A requester's precise location. Public requests show a region, never postcodes.
- Phone numbers and email addresses. Contact happens in Tikk's own chat.
- Anything about other people's deals. A signed-in agent sees exactly what that person sees in the app.
An agent can only act as a person who signed in and approved it. Offers and claims also require that person to have verified their identity with electronic ID, the same rule the app enforces. Agent reads do not count as views. Calls are rate limited per address and per person.

Tool results are JSON with English field names and Icelandic values as sellers wrote them. Prices are in ISK; price is what the buyer pays now and asking_price what the seller started at. Every listing carries its public page, https://tikk.is/vara/<id>.
